Describe tasks and answer follow-up questions

Working with AgentReview draft

On this page

A clear task states what to achieve now, which inputs to use and what must remain. You do not need one long instruction covering the whole project.

Start with the immediate step

Attach relevant files, then describe the goal: “Read this brief, extract functions and open questions with source evidence; do not design yet.” Specify the output—table, prose, image or presentation—when necessary.

Identify versions and roles: “This is the latest design”; “Use this only for color.” To require confirmation before generation, enable manual generation confirmation in Agent's Model preferences and say what you want to discuss first.

Answer follow-up questions

Distinguish goals, constraints and preferences. Give known answers; mark unknowns as pending or explicitly authorize a particular assumption. Do not turn assumptions into project facts. For example: “Compare directions without filtering by a specific budget; flag cost judgments that lack evidence.”

Correct a misunderstanding

Stay in the conversation and identify the error and correct condition: “Retain only the roof profile, not the internal partitions. Revise the analysis.” Replace outdated attachments or project memory if they caused the error.

If generation has started in the wrong direction, use Stop generating before adding instructions. Stopping attempts to cancel current work; it does not undo completed work. In-progress placeholders may be removed. Check the final conversation and canvas state before deciding what to change. See stop and retry.

For multi-step work, request a sequence and confirm it step by step. Feedback tied to specific objects and conditions gives the next round a clearer basis.
