Commercial bid preparation

Use this Skill to extract commercial bid requirements, organize chapters, and incorporate your organization's qualifications, experience, and team records into a tender response.
Prepare materials
Provide the complete tender brief and clarifications with legible text and full page numbers. Use genuine company credentials, project references, and personnel CVs. A previous bid can inform layout; identify the authoritative version when several files exist.
Prepare the bid
- Select this Skill from Skills, attach the tender, and identify the bidding organization and scope. For example: “Extract requirements and propose a chapter structure first; I will supply company records.”
- Check mandatory chapters, page limits, typography, deadline, and filenames against the source. Point to the source location for omissions.
- Check which requirement each chapter answers and which materials it needs. Confirm the structure before expanding the text.
- Supply credentials, experience, and personnel records. Mark missing documents explicitly; do not substitute fictional companies or projects.
- Review text and layout, then request scoped revisions, such as replacing one reference project or updating the project lead from a supplied CV.
Before delivery
Verify names, certificate validity, experience, personnel, dates, commitments, and attachments against every tender requirement. Keep unresolved materials on a completion list.
This Skill handles commercial bid text and layout. Technical design, formal pricing, and bills of quantities require separate preparation. A generated layout does not mean the required export is complete. To present an existing design, see Design presentation document workflow.
