Design problem-solving plan
Skill manualsReview draft
On this page
Use this Skill to turn a new project into actionable design steps, each with a purpose, key actions, and suggested outputs.
Prepare materials
Upload the brief and important supplements, or describe project type, location, scale, existing conditions, and client needs. State the stage and hardest constraints, such as budget, retained structures, or coordination across disciplines.
Plan the work
- Select this Skill, attach materials, and define the planning scope: “Plan the steps from brief research to concept presentation for this factory conversion, focusing on retained structure and public activity.”
- Check the project's discipline and priorities. For multidisciplinary work, identify the leading discipline and supporting roles.
- Verify area, height, setbacks, and delivery dates against actual sources. Keep undecided conditions as open questions.
- Require concrete actions and outputs. Expand vague stages such as “analysis” into work your team can perform.
- Adjust sequence to your team, time, and completed work; do not repeat research already available.
Continue from the plan
Give AIRI loci the selected next task, relevant materials, and constraints. A planned step is not proof that analysis or generation has happened.
This is a design work plan, not an automatically staffed project schedule. For source requirements, start with Brief interpretation. For an established concept, continue with Concept-driven design workflow.
