Interior furnishing concept boards
Skill manualsReview draft
On this page
Organize furniture, textiles, decoration, materials, and colors into coherent concepts for residential, office, hospitality, retail, cultural, or other interiors.
Prepare materials
Provide a plan with references, or renderings of different areas. State project type and the room represented by each image. Clearly mark fixed furniture, colors, and materials.
Build the boards
- Select this Skill, attach images, and define covered spaces and retained design qualities.
- Check space recognition. Label rooms when only renderings are available. Similar rooms may be grouped by type; explain differences if each needs a separate board.
- Review the overall material/color board and main room atmosphere boards for omissions or misidentified uses.
- Check common colors, materials, and textures in the overall board, and furniture, lighting, textiles, and decoration in each room board.
- Refine a specific space without unintentionally changing the overall palette.
Review the result
Spaces should belong to one project while retaining their distinct functions. Check text, material labels, and colors. Under-documented spaces may contain suggestions based on the overall style; add source images to refine them.
Concept boards are not procurement schedules with verified brands, models, dimensions, quantities, and prices. Images are not physical material samples. For a broader architectural, landscape, or interior direction, use Integrated mood boards.
