Lighting concept generation

Skill manualsReview draft

On this page

Explore nighttime lighting for a building, square, landscape, or interior from a photograph or perspective rendering. Discuss concepts before choosing night views and fixture explanations.

Prepare imagery

Attach a clear image or reference an image already on a project Page. State use, emphasis, and desired character, such as a restrained cultural building or legible commercial entrance.

For fixture placement on a two-dimensional plan, use Interior lighting and fixture layout workflow.

Choose concepts and outputs

  1. Select this Skill, attach the image, and describe the task.
  2. Review the project interpretation and lighting concepts. You can stop at text proposals.
  3. To generate images, select concepts explicitly. AIRI loci prepares fixture applications and parameter references, then night renderings.
  4. A single selected concept continues to a fixture explanation image. With multiple concepts, review night views first and choose which need explanation images.

Example: “Emphasize the cultural center entrance and covered walkway without lighting the whole building equally. Text concepts only this round.”

Review consistency

Check hierarchy, entrance legibility, restrained backgrounds, and visible walking areas. Directions differ mainly in fixture combinations, placement, and layered effects, generally with soft, simple, low-saturation presentation.

Match fixture explanations to visible wall washing, accents, or outlines. Check that building form, site layout, and viewpoint remain intact. Refine a single option without repeating others.

These outputs communicate intent. Image brightness does not establish real illuminance; installation, power, and optical performance need development from actual site conditions.
