Keep the default settings whenever possible. Describe the goal, references and delivery requirements and let Agent select suitable models and parameters. You do not need to choose every setting before starting.
Describe the goal first
Ask for a landscape board, clear material details or a slow camera move in the conversation. Purpose, fixed conditions and output requirements are usually more helpful than changing settings first. Defaults still require checking facts, architectural details and delivery quality.
Adjust for a specific need
Change model preferences or generation parameters only when you understand their purpose or have a specific delivery requirement. Supported inputs and parameters vary by model; follow the current interface.

To discuss without generating, say so. For approval before each image/video generation, enable manual generation confirmation in Model preferences.
Before sending
Check that attachments are ready and requirements match the task. Verify manually changed parameters are supported. Address incompatible-input prompts. Return to defaults when unsure.
