TroubleshootingReview draft

Storage belongs to a workspace. Check the current workspace's capacity as well as individual file limits.

Identify the limit

For an oversized file, too many files, or unsupported formats, see Upload limits. A workspace storage limit requires reducing used capacity or adjusting available capacity.

Manage workspace storage

Open storage management and inspect usage and files. Identify unused material and download anything you need to retain before cleanup. In a shared workspace, confirm that other projects or members no longer need it.

Removing an attachment from a conversation draft only excludes it from that turn. Removing a project reference association does not necessarily free storage. Check the usage page after cleanup before uploading again.

You lack management permission

Tell an owner or admin the workspace, capacity message, and materials needed for the task. Do not repeatedly rename and reupload the same file to bypass the limit.

Keep successful uploads and retry only failed items after capacity is available. Generated outputs also consume storage, so a full workspace can affect generation as well as uploads.

After a plan change, check effective benefits and usage, not only the plan name. See storage management for permitted operations and cleanup effects.
