Residential community entrance design

Skill manualsReview draft

On this page

Explore an entrance identity, develop a rough model, or apply a reference language to an existing community entrance, including gateway, canopy, routes, and surrounding context.

Choose a starting point

Without a base, explain community positioning, site conditions, and desired experience. With a model or photo, label it as the design base and identify references separately. State whether passages, main volumes, supports, and camera must remain fixed.

Select and refine

  1. Select this Skill and define retained structure and reference qualities.
  2. Check design maturity: simple masses can gain compatible secondary forms and details; mature models or existing photos should retain established design. State whether background housing also needs refinement.
  3. Choose recommended directions if no reference exists, or prioritize materials and details from your own reference without adding unrelated styles.
  4. Check framework, passages, and viewpoint before material junctions, soffits, entrance transitions, and context.
  5. Request precise local changes and identify what must remain unchanged.

Review completeness

A developed entrance involves spatial depth, component hierarchy, and joints, not only material application. Keep changes within authorized scope and resolve reference/base incompatibilities explicitly.

Renderings do not verify clear widths/heights, material grades, cost, or engineering compliance. For mainland China standards, see Building standards lookup. Use Architectural facade alternatives for a whole building or Landscape design workflow for the landscape system.
