Create a project character

Skill manualsReview draft

On this page

Explore original characters for a community, commercial space, tourism project, or brand, then optionally place a selected character into a project scene.

Prepare the project

Explain purpose, audience, desired feeling, and applications. Supply site photos, renderings, colors, and brand guidelines. If a character already exists and only needs a new scene, provide it and request compositing directly.

From ideas to a character

  1. Select this Skill and describe the goal, such as an approachable nature-education character that is not overly childish.
  2. Compare text proposals by archetype, form, color, and project relationship. Generate only selected directions.
  3. Review individual images and specify changes to proportions, silhouette, clothing, or decoration. Options should differ beyond color.
  4. Decide whether to add the chosen character to a scene. Identify the scene, location, and intended form, such as a sculpture or installation.
  5. Check scale, viewpoint, lighting, and ground contact; revise only the affected character/scene combination when needed.

Evaluate the proposal

View the character at small size to check recognition, then assess audience and application fit. Describe stylistic qualities rather than copying distinctive features of existing characters.

These are visual proposals, not production-ready toys, 3D files, or a full brand system. Continue with Graphic design exploration for a poster or Site activation concepts for activities and operating themes.
