Explore activities and operating themes for a site or space, expressed through atmosphere, use patterns, and temporary facilities.
Prepare materials
Provide photos, a plan, or brief, with users, operating times, existing conditions, and restrictions. Explain temporary installations, required circulation, and established business directions. Without imagery, start with themes; generated scenes then express ideas rather than actual conditions.
Choose a theme
- Select this Skill and explain the goal, such as weekend family activities on a commercial forecourt without blocking circulation.
- Compare audiences, activities, and spatial use. Themes should differ in operation, not merely names.
- Choose one or more directions, or begin from your already established theme.
- Review scene renderings, concept explanation images, and temporary-facility/material/color images for consistency with one activity and the source site.
- Adjust to real conditions, such as fewer stalls, a clear entrance route, or removable installations.
Use the outputs
Use them to discuss atmosphere, spatial organization, and facilities. Check routes, fixed elements, and boundaries even with a photo base.
The output does not establish visitor forecasts, revenue estimates, staffing, permits, or a detailed operating plan. For a presentation, continue with Design presentation document workflow; for facilities, see Landscape facility planning and concepts.
